Season Home Opener for the Ark Valley High Rollers, Saturday, May 6 @7pm

The Ark Valley High Rollers (AVHR) are bringing fast-paced flat track roller derby action back to the Chaffee County Fairgrounds for their first home bout of 2017 when they take on High Altitude Roller Derby on Saturday, May 6!

The High Altitude Roller Derby team will be making their way to Chaffee County from Flagstaff, AZ to take on the All-Stars in this highly anticipated bout that pairs these two teams on the track together for the second time. Doors open at 6:00pm with the first whistle at 7:00pm.

A bake sale for all and libations for those 21 and older will be available! Eddy Out Grille will be on deck to fill up hungry fans too!

Pre-sale tickets can be purchased in Salida at Moonlight Pizza and Café Dawn for $10 or $12 at the door. Free admission for children 10 and under. A portion of these proceeds will be donated to SPOT. SPOT (Salida-area Parks Open-space & Trails) is an incubator for projects within its areas of interest, providing expertise and support for others to achieve their dreams. SPOT is a 501[c]3 non-profit corporation registered with the State of Colorado. Over the years, SPOT has worked with Chaffee County, the City of Salida, the Towns of Buena Vista and Poncha Springs, the Bureau of Land Management, the National Forest Service, various public and private agencies and countless individuals on projects worth more than $2,000,000.

Come out and support your local roller derby team with action packed entertainment and family fun. Join the High Rollers after the bout at the Victoria Tavern, Salida in beautiful downtown Salida to mix, mingle, and dance the night away!
